HISTORY

Info Line of Central Jersey is the only county-wide comprehensive information and referral service in Middlesex and Mercer Counties. Info Line was incorporated in August 1995, when funding became available from the County of Middlesex Board of Chosen Freeholders, New Brunswick Tomorrow, and the United Way of Central New Jersey. Info Line began serving the resident of Mercer County in July 2004.

The major goal of a human services information and referral service is to facilitate and provide a seamless web of communication that grants the consumer universal access to a broad range of social, health, educational, and employment related services within the region.

Because of its service being held to a national standard, in 2008, Info Line of Middlesex County was recognized by the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems with National Accreditation, becoming the first Information and Referral Call Center in New Jersey and only the 100th out of 1400 call centers in the US to achieve this status.

Contact Info Line toll-free by dialing 1-888-908-4636 (INFO). We are available 24 hours a day, every day.
